Adoption & Guardianship Subsidy
Adoption & Guardianship subsidy can provide financial, medical, childcare, and respite services to help meet the needs of the child if adopted or while they are under a guardianship.

Respite Care
Respite care is a short-term service that allows you to take a break from your usual routine of daily care as a primary caregiver.

Legal Fees
Payment for court costs relating to Termination of Parental Rights (TPR) hearings and adoption proceedings, including attorney fees for the birth parent.

Maintenance Payment
Payments for licensed families caring for children (includes room and board, clothing, incidentals).

Medicaid Coverage for Children
Covers qualified Medicaid costs for individuals who meet certain eligibility requirements.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
Food assistance to eligible families to buy nutritious food.

Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
Serves to safeguard the health of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutritional risk by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating including breastfeeding promotion and support, and referrals to health care.

Child Care Assistance
An allowable cost if it is deemed as a necessary part of the case plan or kinship caregiver needs child care due to employment, schooling, or training.

Clothing Allowance
Varying amounts of payment for clothing for children 0-5 years, 6-12 years, and 13 years and older.

Infant Allowance
Payment to families caring for a child 0-3 years old to help defray the additional costs for providing for the specific needs of infants; i.e., formula, diapers, special food, extra clothing, and supplies.

Child-only TANF
TANF when no adult is included in the benefit calculation.

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
Payment to meet a family’s ongoing basic needs (food, shelter, clothing, child care, transportation, etc.).

Free & Reduced Breakfast/Lunch
Children from families whose current income is at or below a set amount are eligible for one free breakfast and one free lunch each day the student attends public school.
