The Parent Cafés in Pemiscot county are a collaboration between MU ParentLink and Pemiscot Initiative Network (PIN) that bring together informal and formal caregivers along with a group of young mothers that provide for intergenerational sharing of ideas. Parent Cafes are based on the Be Strong Families curriculum, and are organized around the Strengthening Families Protective Factors to keep families strong: Resilience, Relationships, Knowledge, Support and Communications. They are led by both Nan Macklin and Marna Jones.

ParentLink is connecting with Angel Wings to host a support group for kinship and foster families.  Join us to find support, make connections, and receive training hours.
